How Practitioners Respond to Disasters When Failure is Not an Option
Connectivity enabling operational process, regardless of circumstances caused by natural or man made events, governs how First Responders effectively take control of what gets thrown at them on a daily basis. This doesn't magically happen, but takes advance planning and building out processes to achieve success when it does. No two operations are the same. These four practitioners will discuss how they effectively overcame adversity affecting their own LMR and collaborative data operations during the diverse real-world responses each has encountered.
Takeaway
1 - Experiences recounted and lessons learned by our panel will provide attendees with new perspectives as it applies to their own response operations.
2 - We will illustrate collaborative approaches to event-driven situations through planning and training for the day the unexpected happens.
3 - How communications topologies (Satellite, FirstNet, LTE) join together into a response ecosystem enabling LMR, broadband data and situational video on-scene during events.
4 - What to consider for communications interoperability when disparate Agencies are suddenly placed into the same sandbox to serve their citizen constituents.
