Tom Soumas is President and Chief Executive Officer of Cinetcomm, LLC, a global provider of communication services and solutions for Governments, the Military and Corporate Enterprise. He leads an experienced team of practitioners with the skill sets to understand and fulfill the requirements of a wide-ranging group of Agency and Corporate clients. An accomplished entrepreneur, Mr. Soumas has created companies that provide unique processes and service to the markets and people they serve. Tom started early. At age 21, while working his way through North Idaho College as a Deputy Sheriff, he co-created, founded and obtained Wall Street financing for Gem State Airlines, a Regional Carrier serving Idaho, Washington and Utah. He went on to create private charter, on-call air carrier and flight department management company Zephyr Aviation Services/Zephyr Express in Burbank, CA. In 1994, with technological advances in satellite-based communications, and emergence of the Mobile Satellite Industry with Iridium and American Mobile Satellite being the leading proponents, he created his first communications endeavor Skysite Communications, a carrier on both of these satellite networks. As emerging satellite technologies have come to market, Tom has continued creating companies and inventing complimentary communications processes that meet the connectivity needs of Critical Infrastructure clients up to present day. Cinetcomm's TotalConnex Network solution is in daily use by agencies and enterprises on a global basis. Mr. Soumas is an active member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, serving on the Policy Council, Communications and Technology Committee (serving as the Chair of the UAV Subcommittee), Indian Country Section, Railroad Chiefs Section and Law Enforcement Information Technology Section. Tom is married to his lifelong sweetheart Barbara, and together they have two sons David and Brian.
