Today's schools face many incredible challenges where the ability to communicate is more vital than ever. A teacher may need to notify administration or other teachers of a threat discreetly. Administration may need to make a campus wide broadcast during a lockdown or inclement weather event. The technology exists to streamline communications and provide critical location and other critical data to administration, transportation, and public safety teams. We'll explore new options for schools to provide economical ways to unify communications, enhance situational awareness and provide consistency across their districts.

Takeaway

o Learn how leveraging standards-based technology enhances interoperability
o Present a framework to unify communications between schools and public safety
o Examine an example of cross-industry integrations that provide situational awareness across campuses, transportation, and classrooms
