Lori Preuss, State and Local Director, Emerging Digital Concepts
Lori Preuss, CPE, has been actively engaged in public safety communications since 1986. Lori has worked in various positions providing a unique perspective from the communications center and field operations. Lori's prior roles include volunteer firefighter, CTO, Crime Analyst, Communications Center Supervisor, International 911 Communications Instructor, Adjunct Professor with two colleges, Manager of Quality Assurance, Instructional Designer, Author, and she currently performs as Director of Business Development and Project Management with Emerging Digital Concepts. Lori served the FL Chapter of APCO as Chapter President in 2008. In addition, she has served on or chaired several committees with the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials, International (APCO). A dedicated lifelong learner, Lori has a bachelor's degree in Adult Vocational Education and Industry Training, with an area of specialization in Public Safety Telecommunications. Lori is also a Certified Public Safety Executive (CPE) through APCO International.
