From his home office in Atlanta, GA James Potter currently serves as the Director of Strategic Solutions for the Public Safety and Professional Communication markets at L3Harris Technologies.  He leads the team that founded the Mission Critical Alliance which is a partner program for best-of-breed technology solution providers to openly collaborate to advance the capabilities, compatibility, and security of mission critical solutions.  James also oversees the product management for Command & Control products, broadband offerings, and support services.  With over 20 years in telecommunications, his roles have spanned across System Engineering, Sales, Strategy, and Product Management with responsibility for MCA partnerships, Voice of the Customer, Market Management, and Strategic Solutions.  James is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, Southern Polytechnic College of Electrical Engineering and Technology.  He is a founding member of the Utility Broadband Alliance (UBBA) and resides on the Board of Directors for the Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) and Executive Board for the Industry Council for Emergency Response Technologies (iCERT). Outside the office, James is a husband, a father of two children, dabbles in home automation, pretends to be a chef, and enjoys a good bourbon.
