Ryan Ford, Cyber Resilient 911 Program Requirements Manager, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)
Mr. Ryan Ford serves as the Requirements Manager for the Cyber Resilient 911 (CR911) Program within the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Emergency Communication Division (ECD) Priority Communication Services Subdivision. He is responsible for identifying the gaps in performance as PSAPs transition to Next Generation 911 and defining the performance requirements and metrics for the CR911 Program. Prior to joining CISA, Ryan served as the Homeland Security Program Manager for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Emergency Management, where he and coordinated contingency planning efforts and interagency operations for Philadelphia. Ryan also has over three years of experience as a Public Safety Telecommunicator for Pinellas County, Florida and worked as an Emergency Communications Coordinator for the American Red Cross in Philadelphia. Prior to choosing a profession in emergency communications and emergency management, Ryan served in the Army as a tank crewman. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from West Chester University, a Master of Public Administration Degree from the University of South Florida, and a Master of Arts Degree in Security Studies from the Naval Postgraduate School.
