Patrick Foley, Ret. Assistant Chief, Clark County Fire Dept. Patrick Foley is a 33-year fire service and EMS veteran who served as Assistant Chief for the Clark County Fire Department until retirement in October of 2021. He has a diverse background in the fire service and EMS, spending many years as a flight paramedic aboard a rescue helicopter. Patrick has a vast knowledge of firefighting, EMS operations, event management, and training as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, School of Medicine. He has written numerous articles and presented at local, regional, and international conferences on firebased EMS, event management, and active shooter responses in the fire service. He is a University of Southern California graduate with a master's degree in public administration. He is a member of a Type 3 Incident Response Team and is credentialed as an all-hazards incident commander
