The Team Awareness Kit (TAK) provides a comprehensive geospatial situational awareness tool for public safety operations in the field. With TAK, end users receive real-time insight into what is happening around them. From team member locations to accessing geotagged video streams from overwatch drones, TAK enables safer missions. A key recent advance is the integration of the fundamental TAK data exchange protocol into the 3GPP Mission Critical Communications (MCX) architecture. This session will review the progress made and demonstrate the impact for teams in the field.
