The DHS NG9-1-1 Conformance and Interoperability Program is now well into its 3rd Phase, which includes building and operating the test suite and lab and conducting cybersecurity assessments. The first few versions of the test suite software have been released, the ISO-accredited lab is operational, and cybersecurity assessments are substantially complete.

Attendees will learn why conformance and interoperability testing is critical to NG9-1-1 success, the current state of the program (software, lab, cybersecurity), some lessons learned from testing activities so far, and how to make use of the program for their 9-1-1 authority or NG9-1-1 product company.

Takeaway

* Why NG9-1-1 conformance and interoperability testing is critical to the success of real-world implementations
* How to access and use the test suite for free
* How to tell if your vendor is *really* NG9-1-1 conformant
* How to contribute your expertise to the project
