P25 Testing Technology has kept pace with the evolution of P25 Standards over the last 32 years; offering a broad array of new testing products, services, labs, and compliance assessment programs. These solutions are currently available to help First Responders assure the reliability of their Mission Critical Communications systems.

The session will begin with a suggested testing regime for P25 networks, systems, and subscriber units. Then, testing recommendations during procurement, deployment and ongoing maintenance for P25 Systems will be shared.

"In Building" Coverage test solutions for P25 will be explained including navigation through the myriad of requirements required by local jurisdictions. A concept that allows subscriber radios to be tested automatically "over the air" will be presented. A variety of P25 "Network linked" test solutions for P25 Inter-System (ISSI) and Console (CSSI) testing will be shown including. testing at multiple P25 Infrastructure sites by a CAP accredited lab. The latest P25 capable test equipment for service shops, field analysis, and laboratory with SW based P25 auto test capabilities will be profiled.

An update on testing compliance through the DHS CAP will be included including the new ISSI and CSSI interoperability testing requirements. Laboratory and field testing services available through Independent Testing Laboratories for P25, CAP, FCC and NTIA testing will be described.
