The FCC's twin proceedings, reviewing spectrum usage and seeking to change interference standards to impose receiver standards, have significant long-term consequences for the LMR industry. In a future where carriers argue that they can serve all LMR needs, where the FCC sees LMR as a low priority, and where little non-broadband innovation for radios has occurred in a number of years, will LMR exist in 10 years?

In this session attendees will learn about recent FCC proceedings that have direct impact on the future of LMR, and be provided with action items.
