2026 Agenda
DMR Association Tier 3 Interoperability (IOP) Certificate Advancements
The DMR Association strives to enhance not only the IOP test feature set, but to streamline the IOP process in an effort to issue more IOP Certificates that cover more DMR features. The current IOP feature set and the IOP Certification process will be reviewed, including an additional possibility for a manufacturer to obtain an IOP Certificate for their device operating on their infrastructure.
Particular focus will be placed on process improvements with the DMR Association’s newly developed IOP Analyzer tool. This tool focuses on ETSI DMR compliance and streamlining the review process. Several manufactures have been meeting and testing their equipment as the tool is improved and refined. This includes a “dry run” IOP test session scheduled for early 2026.
Then hear from Network Operators about impacts to their business from the expanded IOP feature set and the IOP Analyzer.
