The U.S. Department of Energy has released their 2022 National Cyber-Informed Engineering (CIE) Strategy based on U.S. Department of Transportation and International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) life cycle models to ensure a cyber secure and resilient. The CIE strategy uses IT/OT considerations to build cyber security into the system architecture and configuration which can be applied to any critical industry and application.
