Christy Williams, Director, NCT9-1-1
Christy Williams, ENP, is Director of 9-1-1 for the North Central Texas Emergency Communications District (NCT9-1-1), serving more than 40 emergency communications centers across the Dallas-Fort Worth region. With more than three decades in public safety communications, she has helped lead some of the industry's earliest implementations of next-generation 9-1-1 technologies and continues to champion responsible innovation that improves outcomes for callers, telecommunicators and responders. A former President of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), Christy has held numerous state and national leadership roles and has been recognized for her contributions to 9-1-1, technology and public safety innovation. In 2017, she founded the Early Adopter Summit, bringing together forward-thinking public safety leaders and technology partners to explore emerging challenges, share lessons from real-world implementations and advance the future of emergency communications. A frequent national and international speaker, Christy is passionate about challenging conventional thinking, developing future leaders and helping the 9-1-1 community turn emerging possibilities into practical solutions.
