I currently serve as the Director of 9-1-1 for the North Central Texas Emergency Communications District (NCT9-1-1), serving over 40 PSAPs in an area surrounding Dallas/Ft. Worth. I have been in the 9-1-1 industry for over 30 years and love being part of an organization that is saving lives and making a difference. My personal mission statement is to seek to serve others by observing needs, listening, encouraging others, motivating change, and inspiring growth and greatness so those I reach will become their best self and make a difference. My career has given me opportunities to use my voice through training 9-1-1 telecommunicators and other 9-1-1 professionals on a regional, state and national level. I have met so many wonderful people that inspire me. I learn from my students, as I hope they learn from me.
