Mike Ward, 800MHz Radio Systems Administrator, Cobb County, GA
Michael currently serves as the E911 800 MHz Radio Systems Administrator for the Cobb County Regional Radio System. This system provides Communications Services for 6 counties and 11,000+ subscribers. Prior to his current position, he served 15 years as the Radio System Manager for Beaufort County, SC. During his Communications career, Michael has held the positions of E911 Executive Director and retired from the US ARMY (1981-2005) with the rank of Major in the Signal Corps. Michael currently serves as the President of the Motorola Trunked Users Group (National) and Co-Lead of the Metro Atlanta UASI Regional Communications and Technology Committee Interoperable Communications Subcommittee. Michael has been married to his wife Nancy for 37 years. Together, they have two grown children and two grandsons. Michael holds both a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Health Services Administration.
