Federico Simonetti is Chief Technology Officer at Xiid Corporation leading a fundamental shift from reactive to preventive cybersecurity. He is a pioneering figure in cybersecurity with over three decades of experience spanning ethical hacking, academia, law enforcement, and serial entrepreneurship. In the 1990s, Simonetti gained international recognition as "DDT" - a renowned ethical hacker who helped countless organizations secure their systems without compensation, establishing early principles of responsible disclosure. He later became Italy's youngest full professor, teaching Operating Systems Security at the University of Milan for seven years. Simonetti developed specialized anti-crime software and led computer forensics teams that prevented hundreds of crimes.
