Stuart Sanz, Interoperable Communications and Radio System Manager, Arlington County VA
Stuart Sanz is a Law Enforcement professional with 40 years of local and federal law enforcement experience with expertise in narcotics and money laundering investigations, as well as 25 years of tactical communications experience dealing with tactical communications at the state, local, and federal levels to include encryption, radio programing, interoperability issues, telecommunications, cellular, mobile, and platform communications, mobile command communications and coordinating with emerging technologies in Wireless Cellular and WI-FI areas to support identification, testing, procurement, and deployment of emerging technologies. Mr. Sanz currently serves as the Interoperability and Radio System Manager for Arlington County, Virginia. He manages the day-to-day operation of the P-25 trunked radio system and maintains the interoperability with the agencies within the National Capital Region, which includes Federal, State, and local agencies. He is currently the Chairman of the Northern Virginia Emergency Response System Regional Preparedness Advisory Committee and Vice Chairman of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Government (MWCOG) Interoperable Communications Regional Programmatic Working Group and member of the MWCOG Public Safety Communications Group.
