Jeff Perkins, ORCEMS, Public Safety Communications Specialist, Oregon Dept. of Emergency management
Jeff Perkins is a Public Safety Communications Specialist with the Oregon Department of Emergency Management's Office of Statewide Interoperability. His work focuses on public-safety communications interoperability, emergency communications, network resilience, and coordination across LMR, broadband, satellite, 911, and commercial telecommunications systems. Jeff has supported communications planning and operations for wildfires, planned events, exercises, and other incidents across Oregon, including work within ESF-2 and incident communications units. He holds COML, COMT, and ITSL qualifications and is an Oregon Certified Emergency Management Specialist. He also serves in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Signal Operations NCOIC. His background spans emergency management, public safety, military communications, and interoperable communications, with an emphasis on turning technical communications capabilities into practical, resilient solutions for responders and communities.
