Luke Mitchell, Technical Director, Morcom International, Inc.
Luke started in telecommunications in 1996 as a protocol management specialist I quickly moved into radio communications and was a key participant in the digitalization of the British Army's radio communication systems in the mid 2000's. 28 years later he is the Director of Technical Programs with Morcom International, based in Virginia and specializing in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for Public Safety communications, cellular and broadband applications.
As a qualified project manager he has designed, built, used, trained, and managed systems with RF from 3 MHz to 80 GHz, with cables of coax, copper, fiber, and string. Through his career he has worked with devices for routing, switching, adapting, transmitting and testing, for applications that are lifesaving, advanced, and unique, serving bus drivers, fire fighters, CEO's and satellite flyers equally. He has a passion for solving problems and passing on knowledge.
