Eric Ingram, Professor, UMass Global
Eric L. Ingram has been teaching college classes for about eight years, and has a B.S. in electronic engineering and a M.S. in cybersecurity as well as several industry certifications. He has a 30-year background in the instrumentation and automated process controls, robotics, telecommunications, information technology as well as education arenas. He worked for many years in areas ranging from telecommunications to nuclear power. Eric served 14 years in the Air Force between active duty and reserves, but injuries forced him to change his career path to a less physically demanding one eight years ago. His experience and education, coupled with a strong IT/Telecom background, opened the door for him to use his skills and experience in a technical training arena such as teaching electronics and telecommunications technology-related courses which range from basic electronics to advanced fiber optics. Eric is honored to teach information technology curriculum to motivated technology employees looking to bolster their technical skills for the dynamic world they live and operate in today. He loves to teach and enjoys engaging adult learners in the information technology, security, computer information science, and information technology certification environments.
