Tomi Fadipe, Global Vertical Industry Strategy Leader, Zebra Technologies
Tomi Fadipe is a Global Vertical Industry Strategy Leader at Zebra Technologies, driving business development and technology solution strategies focused on industries with field-based services & operations. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, she has extensive expertise in architecting large-scale communication systems that support critical infrastructure operations and protection. Prior to Zebra Technologies, she served as an Engineering Manager at Eversource Energy, where her responsibilities included leading a team of telecommunications engineers and overseeing communication infrastructure projects. Under her leadership, the team managed a comprehensive telecom network comprising miles of fiber, multiple microwave radios links, telecommunication towers, optical network multiplexer nodes & other telecommunications network assets. Notable achievements include spearheading the buildout of a state-wide Digital Land Mobile Radio system and the upgrade of Core Transport DWDM Network providing private high speed and high bandwidth connectivity between the legacy operating companies. Tomi holds dual Master's degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Power Systems Management and Electrical Engineering, plus a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hartford. She holds a certification in Agile Leadership and is a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified professional.
