Jason Ervin, Sr. VP, Telecommunications, Lower Colorado River Authority
Jason Ervin has a passion for communications technology and has devoted much of his career to incorporating advances in technology into utility communications networks. In his more than 30 years with the Lower Colorado River Authority in Texas, Jason has led multiple major technology shifts in both transport systems and mission-critical push-to-talk networks. He directed efforts for LCRA at the Federal Communications Commission and served in an executive role for LCRA's broadband use-case development and spectrum procurement. Jason, who now serves as the LCRA Director of Infrastructure and Controls, understands the business needs of utilities and knows firsthand how to integrate technology advances to improve efficiency, security, reliability, and scalability in utilities.
