Joe Duvall, Chief of Police, City of Dallas GA Police Department
Joe Duvall is a thirty-five-year veteran of law enforcement. He was appointed as the Chief of Police for the Dallas Police Department in January 2018. Prior to working with Dallas, he served with the City of Marietta Police Department for thirty-one years where he retired at the rank of Major. During his tenure with the Dallas Police Department, the city of Dallas has experienced a forty-five percent reduction in crime and is recognized in the top five percent of safest cities in the State of Georgia. In 2020, he also led the Dallas Police Department in the creation of the first 911 center utilizing FirstNet broadband technology in the State of Georgia.
