Josh Cingranelli, Regional Coordinator, Connecticut DESPP/Emergency Management
Josh Cingranelli currently serves as the Region 3 Coordinator for the Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS), having joined the agency in February 2023. In this role, Josh helps to coordinate multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional emergency response efforts, working closely with elected officials, fire and police chiefs, emergency management directors and various non-governmental organizations to ensure comprehensive all-hazard preparedness, response, and recovery strategies. Before his tenure at DEMHS, Josh dedicated six years as a meteorologist at NBC Connecticut in West Hartford. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science from Lyndon State College in Vermont and a Master's degree in Education from Sacred Heart University. With over 13 years of experience in emergency services, Josh has actively contributed to the field as a firefighter, emergency medical responder, assistant fire chief, and 911 dispatcher, honing his leadership and operational expertise in both routine and high-pressure scenarios.
