Sherri Bush, ENP has over 35 years of experience in public safety emergency communications. A certified Emergency Number Professional, she previously served as the Emergency Communications Director for the Newport News Police Department and held two terms as President of the Virginia NENA Chapter. For more than 20 years, Sherri has collaborated with local, regional, and state governments, as well as NGOs in the U.S. and Canada, focusing on technical strategic planning and legislative development. A former NCIC instructor, she specializes in the strategic planning of public safety technology systems—including radio, telephony, CAD/RMS, MobileCAD, and jail management systems. Sherri has conducted numerous systems needs assessments, procurements, and implementations nationwide. Her expertise also encompasses operations, organizational change, facility planning for 9-1-1 centers, and governance and policy development at both local and state levels.
