Keri BrennanSubject Matter ExpertGeoComm

Keri Brennan, GISP, ENP, is a nationally recognized leader in public safety GIS with more than two decades of experience advancing geospatial solutions for emergency response. She currently serves as Subject Matter Expert at GeoComm, where she guides the development of GIS content and services for public safety, including the implementation of indoor maps that support school safety and Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1).

Keri provides consulting and training focused on 9-1-1 GIS data development, implementation, and planning. Her career includes leadership roles with many GIS and public safety organizations, where she launched and grew the public safety GIS product lines, achieving rapid market growth and customer retention. She has also served as Director of Client Relations, Senior GIS Consultant, and Education Manager with the Geospatial Professional Network, where she trained professionals worldwide and contributed to the development of key GIS education programs.

Keri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Laurentian University. She is a certified GIS Professional (GISP) and an Emergency Number Professional (ENP), as well as a NENA and the Geospatial Professional Network certified instructor. She has been an active contributor to national standards efforts, including co-chairing the NENA Indoor GIS Data Model Working Group and serving on the NG9-1-1 Task Force.

A past President of the Geospatial Professional Network and long-time board member, Keri is passionate about using GIS to advance public safety, improve response times, and save lives. She continues to educate, mentor, and lead within the geospatial community.
