Chuck Bethea is Executive Vice President of Business Development at Commdex where he leads a diversified team that designs solutions for mission critical communications users across the Federal, State, and Local Government markets as well as other large enterprise customer with mission critical needs. This team of engineering and customer experience professionals works with users to identify critical communications needs in the areas of wide area wireless networks including both 5G and land mobile radio, indoor coverage enhancement and integrated IP networks. Chuck and his team has successfully developed solutions for US Customs and Border Protection, the US Coast Guard, the US Air Force, the National Park Service among other key agencies.
Previously, Chuck served as Vice President of Operations at Commdex. Among his leadership duties, he was primarily focused on operational planning, reporting and the optimal deployment of resources in support of project and client demand. Chuck’s deep experience leading teams on numerous large public safety systems for various state and local governments enabled him to meet the dynamic challenges at Commdex.

Prior to joining Commdex, Chuck worked for Motorola Solutions, Inc. as a Systems Integration Manager for its Government and Public Safety business. In this role, he was responsible for leading capture efforts for large, strategic projects in the State and Local Government market. This included oversight of technical strategy, deployment planning, subcontractor management, and project contractual issues. Prior to that at Motorola, he worked as a Senior Systems Engineer designing Land Mobile Radio communications systems for State and Local Government customers where he also served as a subject matter expert for Project 25 and IP networking systems.

Chuck is a veteran of the United States Air Force and holds and electrical engineering degree from Clemson University.
