Michael Asimor, CEO, Dynamic International
Michael Asimor's journey into public safety began on September 25, 2001—just two weeks after 9/11—when he stepped into a role selling first responder equipment at Safety Systems Corporation. What started as a sales position quickly became a calling. Michael discovered that to truly serve the public safety community, it wasn't enough to offer the right tools—agencies also needed a way to pay for them. That realization launched a 20+ year career at the intersection of funding, technology, and community safety. Over the years, Michael has helped scale businesses and equip agencies across the country, driving multimillion-dollar growth for technology vendors while eliminating the number one barrier agencies face: budget. At Dynamic International, he secured robotics, protective equipment, and mobile response systems for agencies by aligning projects with FEMA, DOJ, and DHS grant programs. Later, as a founding executive at Navigator (formerly GovFunds), he pioneered the use of AI-powered grant strategies, building "Funding Divisions" inside organizations that cut application time by a 10:1 ratio and accelerated adoption of critical technologies such as NG911, broadband, robotics, and school safety solutions. Michael has trained and empowered thousands of agency leaders and businesses to navigate the complex funding landscape, blending practical strategies with a mission-driven approach. His focus is simple: remove financial roadblocks, unlock growth, and ensure that public safety professionals have access to the equipment, software, and training they need to protect and serve.
