With the increasing utilization of broadband networks for data-intensive applications, it is more important than ever to take consideration of Radio Frequency (RF) performance when integrating these systems into vehicles and infrastructure. Explore how to take lessons learned through decades of narrowband use and apply them in a similar way to broadband, while noting some key differences which can make a big difference when done correctly. The talk will cover the following key topics, during which real-world anecdotes will be shared, and see a live demonstration using real equipment to get across the true impact to users of a well-designed solution.
• How Radio Frequency performance affects user experience, functionality and reliability, and what steps can be taken to improve it. This will be explained using real lab data and simulations.
