Twenty years ago, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) were thought to be placed on a slice of the 5.9 GHz band, in particular for Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) Service. Moving into 2024, the momentum has shifted away from DSRC to vehicle-to-vehicle/vehicle-to-infrastructure communications (V2X), Light Detection and Ranging (LiDaR) and RADAR. In this session, speakers will discuss the major technologies for ITS, as well as how we should be connecting to moving transport as we move towards intelligent transportation centers and self-driving vehicles.
Key takeaways:
Hear about innovative smart mobility and transportation technologies.
Examine smart infrastructure, traffic management, autonomous vehicle controls.
Learn business models and regulations for future endeavors in transport.
Consider the cybersecurity ramifications of autonomous vehicles.
