Scott Walters is the Director of Business Development at Network Innovations Advanced Networks. He is responsible for network design and engineering and the growth of satellite ground systems, with an eye on the latest trends in what’s being called being called “New Space.” With over 30 years in the satellite industry, Scott has a diverse portfolio of experiences that positioned him for his current role.
Prior to joining Network Innovations, Scott was with Intelsat for almost 20 years. He held several positions, with the most recent being Director of Global Solution Networks for their Government Division, Intelsat General.
Scott holds a Masters of Science in Information Communications Technology from the University of Denver and is a Veteran of both the Canadian and United States Army. He is also a volunteer leader with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises. In addition, Scott is a technology volunteer with Help.NGO, a UN Standby Partner using technology to solve critical needs in communities impacted by Humanitarian disasters.
