Carlo Thompson is a distinguished engineer of system architecture in Verizon's Technology Product Development group. Where he is responsible for the development of new solutions and deployment of new technologies for lab networks, commercial systems and mobile infrastructure. One example of his work is in the development of the Verizon Tactical, Humanitarian, Operations Response vehicle. Better known as the Verizon Thor vehicle.
Prior to this position, Carlo worked in various positions within network assurance and wireless engineering. In addition to his more than 20 years in the wireless industry. Carlo was responsible for transport architecture within the New York Region, as well as development of support tools and implementation process efficiencies for network assurance personnel.
