Hakeem Thomas is an U.S. Army signal veteran, and current Senior Cybersecurity Engineer with Netmaker Communications, LLC supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency and the on-going planning a development work associated with the deployment of NG9-1-1 solutions within the Department of Defense. He serves as on the NENA cybersecurity working group contributing to various technical papers. Prior to joining Netmaker Communications in support of DISA, Mr. Thomas was employed for three years with Cloud Lake Technology, LLC as Service Delivery Manager, supporting DoD PSAP installations and Mass Warning and Notification system installations. During his employment, he deployed to global locations overseeing the installation of PSAP and Mass Warning and Notification solutions sold to the DoD by Cloud Lake. Mr. Thomas has a Bachelor of Science in Digital Forensics and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice; he is currently completing a Master of Science in Cybersecurity candidate at the University of Southern New Hampshire.
