Kurtis Stadsvold, Flight Chief, U.S. Air Force
Master EOD Flight Chief, 788 Civil Engineer Squadron, Wright-Patterson AFB. Sergeant Stadsvold leads 28 EOD Airmen that mitigate hazards to personnel and property posed by weapons and explosive materials in all physical domains. The response area covered by the 788 Civil Engineer Squadron covers 5 states and over 26,000 square miles where the flight advises and assists local and federal agencies in explosive emergencies. Sergeant Stadsvold originally joined the Air Force in 2005 and served two tours as an Avionics technician on the F-16 and MQ-1/9. He retrained into the EOD career field in 2010. Another notable vectored position he held was as the Non-Commissioned in Charge of the EOD Preliminary Course. He holds a Master of Science in Human Performance from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Security Management from Southwestern College and Associate of Science in Technology and Military Science and Explosive Ordinance Disposal from the Community College of the Air Force.
