David RudawitzBusiness Development Manager - Critical InfrastructureNVIS Communications

David Rudawitz is the Critical Infrastructure Business Development Manager for NVIS Communications. At NVIS he works with Electricity and other critical infrastructure sector entities to develop, deploy and maintain resilient communications systems to support emergency, disaster and cyber-security operations. Previously to joining NVIS, he was a contract project manager and subject matter expert at the Bonneville Power Administration where he developed and deployed an HF emergency communication system and developed emergency response plans and exercises for all hazards including cyber incidents. David is also the public member of the Oregon State Interoperability Executive Council (SIEC). He has over 45 years of experience in emergency communications and disaster incident management and response. He has worked in the Electricity Sector since 2008 developing incident response plans and resilient communications systems built on a core of HF radio equipment. His work has also supported the development of cyber incident response plans and the application of the FEMA Incident Command System for the management of these incidents. David is an experienced project manager, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and trainer. In the last few years, David has previously presented at IWCE.
