Mick O'Dwyer, Sales & Business Development Director, Druid Software
Michael has a BSc. Eng from Trinity College Dublin. He has worked in the Telecommunications industry since graduation in senior Sales and Marketing roles. He has expertise in growing companies and positioning them as global players. In an early role following graduation Mick headed Nortel's Sales & Market team in Ireland and Norway where they achieved a dominant market position in the supply of Voice and Data networks to medium and large enterprise customers. He then joined LAKE Communications as Sales and Marketing Director and was responsible for growing the sales from €3M to €34M when it was acquired by Mitel Networks in 2011. LAKE Communications was involved in development and supply of small enterprise Voice & Broadband solutions and targeted network operators globally as channels to market. Whilst at LAKE he lead a team that built a significant global distribution incl BT, KPN, Belgacom, Teleco Italia, Commander Communications (Associated with Telstra) and in the US and Canada Inter-Tel & Mitel Networks. Mick joined Druid software from LAKE Communications after completing an earn-out period associated with the acquisition of Lake by Mitel Networks. His main focus is building channels for Druid's portfolio globally and growing sales and market presence and awareness.
