Robert Nitsch currently serves as Vice President Public Safety at Frequentis AG headquarter in Vienna Austria. In his capacity, Mr. Nitsch is responsible for the overall operational and strategic management of a strategic business unit Public Safety in a global, group-wide context.
Mr. Nitsch began his career with Frequentis in 1991 as an Assistant Project Manager and progressed to senior management within the company by successfully undertaking and completing large, evermore complex programs. He has worked extensively in the international market including the USA, Europe and Asia. 
During his carrier Mr. Nitsch was Business Unit Manager for the civil and military markets in the German subsidiary where he increased the total revenue by 100%. He was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Frequentis USA Inc in 2001 and became President of FREQUENTIS USA Inc in 2004. The subsidiary developed during his tenure from a sales office to a fully self-sustaining organization with annual revenue in 2011 exceeding 20 million dollars. Frequentis USA Inc. became a commercially independent company with its own engineering base, manufacturing, integration facilities, complete integrated logistic support (ILS), and a network of strong US partners.  
Mr. Nitsch re-joined the Frequentis AG headquarter in Vienna Austria back in 2012 and lead the transformation of the strategic business unit public safety from a hardware to a software centric business including the development, market introduction and delivery of a Tier 1 multimedia communication and information integration platform for public safety. Since 2022 Mr. Nitsch holds additionally the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at the majority owned company Regola S.r.l. located in Turin, Italy. 
His educational background includes electronics with advanced education in international economics at the University of Vienna and transformational and corporate leadership at the Georgetown University, Washington D.C.
