Rodney Murray is a seasoned UAV professional that specializes in telecom and utilities infrastructure. He currently works as a Solutions Engineer for Skydio working with enterprise customers. Formally with Verizon/Skyward helping customers with training, regulatory support and technical solutions. Previously he founded Eagle Drones, LLC in St. Charles, Illinois. Eagle Drones provides Aerial Engineering and Imaging Services for Telecom, Infrastructure and Construction. Rodney has spent most of his career in telecommunications, IT, and broadcasting as an engineer, director of operations and executive manager. He has helped several start-up companies establish their business strategies and operations. Rodney has been in the drone industry for the past 8 years using drones to provide LOS surveys, inspections, audits and mappings. Rodney is a licensed drone pilot and has many hours of flying time around critical infrastructure. As a NATE (National Association of Tower Erectors) member, he has also been a UAS committee member from the beginning and helped shape the association's position and charter.
