Christopher Miller, Professor of Technology, Heartland Community College
Mr. Miller is a Professor and Program Coordinator at Heartland Community College. After being on the forever plan he finally got a BS and MS in Industrial Technologies at Illinois State University. Chris is proud of three achievements: Helping a lot of students over the last twenty years get great careers in the electronic technical field. Second, the creation the Renewable Energy degree program at Heartland in 2009. Third, helping author the specific language in the Illinois Commerce Commission's Distributed Energy Installer program on ways to becoming a photovoltaic installer. Other trivial facts include being a ham radio operator N9RKD, being a Communications Assistant District Staff Officer in the Coast Guard Auxiliary, developing a partnership to increase student electronic technology certification in China, being active in student success programs, running a sustainability and renewable energy course in Belize and voiding warranties on electrical gadgets. Enough about me, let us work on getting you the certification.
