Curtis Mentz, Associate Director | Verizon Frontline Crisis Response Team - West, Verizon Mission Critical Communications
Curtis Mentz is an Associate Director with over 36 years of experience with Verizon and its legacy companies. Over his career, Curtis has held various management positions including roles in sales, marketing, operations and crisis response. He currently leads the Verizon Frontline Crisis Response Team for the western United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. This involves deploying mission critical wireless communication equipment to public safety agencies, emergency management organizations, as well as relief organizations such as the American Red Cross and many others during times of crisis and significant events. Curtis is a San Francisco Bay Area native and is a graduate of Santa Barbara City College with a degree in Marketing. He has over 25 years of volunteer service with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office Search & Rescue Team and is an Emergency Medical Technician.
