Kevin Linehan, Senior Solutions Architect, Mission Critical Private Networks, Ericsson
Kevin Linehan is a Senior Solution Architect responsible for supporting the end-to-end design and delivery of mission critical private networks deployed in North America for the public safety, defense and utility verticals.
Prior to joining Ericsson, Linehan has worked in various design, strategy and management positions including head of research and development for base station antennas, where he led the industry in establishing the first industry standards for this class of antennas. He has managed various strategic partnerships involving industry start-ups, academic insitutions and government labs. More recently in a CTO office role, he has led the assessment of emerging and 5G technologies providing leadership in the development of corporate level strategy for 5G technology and standards. He has served on the boards of 5G Americas, Small Cell Forum, and the PAWR Industry Consortium.
Linehan received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and holds 16 US patents.
