Kamala Kuhn is currently the Director for Grants Assistance with PS Grants. Kamala Kuhn is a retired Deputy Administrator for the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. Kamala led and/or participated in multiple policy making commissions, committees, and working groups responsible for establishing statewide policy on public safety issues to include, but not limited to: Homeland Security/Emergency Management Preparedness (planning, training. and exercise), Response, Recovery and Mitigation; Communications Interoperability; CBRNE; Health Emergency Response; Animal Sheltering; Public Information; Search and Rescue; and Damage Assessments. Kamala was an administrator of the Emergency Operations Center and Incident Command. As Deputy Administrator, Kamala was responsible for management and oversight of all federal grant programs within the Division and has over 25 years of experience in managing and administering federal public safety grant programs, to include all disaster assistance grant programs.
