Jerermy Knoll, Wireless Systems Bureau Manager/Statewide Interop Coordinator , Arizona Department of Public Safety
Jeremy Knoll has served in the Wireless Systems Bureau at the Arizona Department of Public Safety since May of 1997. Currently, he holds the title of Telecommunications Bureau Manager and additionally on April 1, 2014, he was appointed the Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC) for the State of Arizona. Jeremy started his career in the Wireless Systems Bureau of the Arizona Department of Public Safety as a Telecommunications Technician Trainee and worked his way up to his current position as the Telecommunications Bureau Manager in September of 2018 where he leads teams of communications professionals that design, construct, and maintain the states extensive public safety communications network that federal, state, county, and local public safety users utilize for their day to day activities. Jeremy also assists in the field with his radio communications expertise on many department special operations, multi-agency operations, disaster training exercises, teaching All Hazards Communication Unit Leaders, and as a subject matter expert in investigations involving electronic communications equipment. Jeremy currently holds an FBI secret clearance, certifications as a recognized “All Hazards” Communications Unit Leader and Communications Unit Leader Trainer, is a Governor appointed member of the Arizona Department of Homeland Security’s Senior Advisory Council and sits on a number of other communications working groups/committees.
