Alphie Kilgus is an innovator in IoT (Internet of Things) and Resilient Network Design. For over 20 years, he has helped some of the largest companies in the world maximize the value of their IoT implementations. Most recently, his focus has been on a collaborative concept he refers to as “Secure Programmable Intelligent Data Relay,” or SPIDR for short. This concept transcends the capabilities of traditional IoT gateways. Alphie will explain why he believes this novel approach is not only more secure and cost-effective but can instantly adapt to the rapidly changing needs of the business. Furthermore, it lays the foundation for future AI-assisted transformations. Alphie holds a BS in Computer Science from Bradley University. He believes you cannot spell IoT without IT and OT, and that “scope creep” is a key indicator of the most successful IoT projects!
