Alessandro Guido, DMRA's Program Manager
Alessandro Guido works on DMR System Design at Leonardo Spa in Italy. With 30 years of experience, Alessandro started at Telettra Alcatel working on GSM and TETRA RBS system design. In 1997 he joined Prod-El (formerly Marconi group, then Selex Communications and now Leonardo) developing simulcast radio networks. Alessandro participated at the ETSI Task Group DMR for the standardisation of DMR since its inception in 2003 and is presently Leonardo's representative in both the ETSI TG DMR and in the Technical Working Group of the DMR Association. Inside of ETSI Alessandro follows in particular the updates of the DMR standard, both Tier II and Tier III, by increasing the number of features and the robustness of the standard itself. Inside of the DMRA Alessandro follows in particular the Interoperability process and the Interoperability sessions, also in his capacity as the Laboratory Coordinator of the DMRA, i.e. is the DMRA's Program Manager for the Laboratory recognition program and interoperability process.
