Don Griffis is a Principal Product Manager at L3Harris Corporation. Don's career in public safety communications spans over 30 years. Don's experience is broad, from a software developer at Motorola to Software Architect, P25 Software Manager, LMR System Engineer and both DMR and P25 LMR Product Manager at L3Harris. Don is currently the product manager of the industry’s first NFPA 1802 compliant "XL Extreme" converged LMR/LTE portable and the first fully converged multiband portable, the "XL Converge" series of devices. The XL portfolio of portable radios are Telstra, Telus, ATT, FirstNet and Verizon LTE certified. Don is and avid outdoor enthusiast, he is married and has two children and resides in Lynchburg, Virginia, USA.
