Greg Glenn is a member of the Comba Leadership team, functioning as a Sr. Director. Glenn, is a highly experienced radio system design engineer and management professional with over 40 years' experience and has a long-standing reputation in the inbuilding and RF industries. His background and previous experience includes being a member of the leadership team that introduced SOLiD Technologies to the US market, as well as several years of experience working as the head of engineering for leading DAS system integrators throughout the United States. Prior to DAS integration, Greg was responsible for engineering and operating some of the largest 800-MHz LMR radio networks in the United States, serving both the public safety and commercial markets. Glenn spent several years with Motorola in various technical and management positions. Glenn is an experienced instructor, recently participating as an instructor for CIBET (Certified "In Building" Engineering Technologist), a continuing education program sponsored by University of Colorado at Boulder. Greg developed in-house technical and sales training programs for SOLiD Gear, Tri-Power Group, as well as training programs for industry groups such as NAPCO (Association of Public Safety Communications Officials). Glenn is currently developing and delivering training for licensees, integrators and AHJs on behalf of Comba Telecom USA. Glenn often consults on issues of interference, best practices for "in building" enhancement as well as macro-RF system design. Clients include Stanford Medical, County of Napa, County of Placer, City of Sacramento, City of Roseville, City of San Francisco, and Collier County FL, to name a few. Glenn was instrumental in the development of the business as well as the acquisition of funding for Pacific Wireless Technologies, a regional iDEN system operator. PWT was the fastest deployed iDEN system in the US (at the time), first call made less than ninety days from company inception. Pacific Wireless, a $90 million endeavor, was purchased by Nextel in 2002. Member of NICET steering committee for in-building certification program.
