Rick Gilbert, Senior Director of Campus Safety, Milton Hershey School
Rick Gilbert is the Senior Director of Campus Safety at Milton Hershey School for the past 15 years. Rick developed a model campus safety program, leading the school to become the first residential Pre-Kindergarten through grader 12 (PK-12) in the U.S. to achieve the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies accreditation in Campus Safety in 2017, with a second accreditation in Public Safety Communication in 2020. Rick began his career with the Lyndeborough, New Hampshire Police Department, later transitioning to higher education, where he spent 12 years at Bates College and co-founded the New England Campus Security Training Academy. He served as Director of Campus Safety at Endicott College before his current role. Rick has also chaired the Central Pennsylvania American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Chapter.
