Tetoya has 20+ years of public safety experience assisting military and private sector businesses with Emergency Operation Centers, Government operations during blue and gray sky days. As a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force she has developed extensive knowledge in emergency preparedness and project management. Tetoya has an AS in Emergency Management, BA in Homeland Security and an MPA in Disaster Management from American Public University. Tetoya has served Eastern North Carolina as both a Disaster Response and Service to the Armed Services Emergency Communications Volunteer deploying to multiple disaster response operations across the nation. Tetoya is an active member of the International Association of Emergency Managers. In her free time Tetoya enjoys volunteering as a STEM ambassador for youth across the United States. And is currently serving on the VALOR ERG Board of Directors as the global lead for programs and events.
