Mary E. Doherty is Vice President Carrier Solutions & Sales North America for Motorola Solutions Inc. She is responsible for all Motorola Solutions’ North America Carrier business. Since joining MSI in 2012, she has held various leadership positions.

Prior to joining MSI, she was with Harris Corporation (previously M/A-COM and Tyco Electronics) in various roles including Area Sales Director, Solutions Engineering Manager and Product Group Manager. In these roles she was responsible for managing and directing marketing, research and development, product management and operations on a global basis.

Her experience also includes serving as a senior staff member for a quasi-public Massachusetts agency, directing collaborative public-private initiatives and programs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Ms. Doherty was also appointed by Governor Mitt Romney to the Northeast Regional Competitive Council of Massachusetts. In this capacity, she represented the perspective of industry in an effort to improve the environment within Massachusetts to retain, grow and attract businesses to Massachusetts.

She also served as a co-Chair of the Interoperability Committee for the Mid-Atlantic All Hazards Forum, an eight state collaborative initiative created by the State of Maryland. Ms Doherty previously represented Motorola Solutions in iCERT, an industry association that is the voice of commercial public safety companies, wireless carriers, and related vendors on public policy issues impacting 9-1-1 and the emergency response system.

Ms. Doherty holds a Master of Science in Business Economics from the McCallum Graduate School of Business, Bentley University, as well as a Bachelor of Science from the College of Engineering & Physical Sciences at the University of New Hampshire.
